To set the standard for luxurious gift ideas this season, Champagne Taittinger, one of the very few premium houses to remain owned and actively run by the named family, release a bespoke presentation gift box of an ice bucket and bottle of their award-winning vintage 2002 Taittinger Champagne, exclusively for the Christmas market.
This designer item is available now from specialist retailers including Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Toast, Thomas Peatling and Vintage Wine. With an RRP of £100, it is available on a limited availability.
The attractive bespoke ice bucket is made of highly polished premium stainless steel and stands three quarters the size of a 75cl bottle. The Taittinger logo is engraved above the house name in striking red - to match the red painted interior. An off-centre hole in the lid tops the attractive design and keeps the ice safely within. The presentation case itself is made of sleek thick black card with a roundel of the company logo emblazoned on the side. The box lid lifts to release the front section which opens forward, revealing the splendid cooler and bottle in situ. A handle on the outer box makes this an easily transported gift for busy Christmas shoppers.
The presentation gift box is imported into the UK by the sole UK agents for Champagne Taittinger, Hatch Mansfield, and is now available.
Said Lynn Murray, Marketing Director for Hatch Mansfield,
“Taittinger is synonymous with celebrations. The theatre of presentation is an essential part of every celebration and we are delighted to unveil this new bespoke Champagne cooler. The simple, stylish design ensures every occasion will have a sparkling element, perfectly presented.”
The exceptional Champagne Taittinger Vintage 2002 was honoured with a Gold Medal at both the International Wine Challenge and Decanter Fine Wine Awards 2008, akin to winning the double of a BAFTA and Oscar for Best film. The wine, a fifty/fifty blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, is made with grapes exclusively from first pressing of the 2002 harvest. The fruit comes from only Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs (Chardonnay) and the Montagne de Reims and the beginning of the Vallée de la Marne, for the Pinot Noir.
